VYPE FEATURED ON Terrell Owens’ TRAINING camp Roster as Official Media Sponsor

High school sports magazine syndicate partnered with Terrell Owens’ Youth Football Summer Mini-Camp to promote athletics in local Texas community

TULSA, OK, JULY 18, 2008 – VYPE has announced that it was an official media sponsor for Terrell Owens’ Youth Football Summer Mini-Camp, which took place July 9th and 10th in Duncanville, TX. The third annual camp was geared toward boys aged 7 to 17 who want to improve their games and sharpen their football skills.
As the official media sponsor for the event, VYPE will be posting photos and video coverage of the kids’ performances, which will be available for viewing on VYPE.com. VYPE also facilitated a co-sponsorship of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards with zoombang, which provided innovative protective sportswear to each award recipient. The MVP awards recognized the efforts of some of the hardest-working young team players at the camp in a variety of age groups and categories, with 40 awards in all.
The 2008 camp featured fitness and strength training sessions, Q&As with elite athletes from both college and the NFL, raffles and giveaways. NFL stars Marion Barber, Sam Hurd and Charles Spencer, as well as fitness experts Blake Kassel, Michael McErlane, Rosenhaus Sports and three-time Olympic gold medalist Maurice Greene, were on hand to teach the kids how to increase speed and improve coordination. This year, the camp hosted nearly 200 boys, and offered the opportunity for underprivileged kids to attend via the “Sponsor a Kid” program. The camp also provided the boys with athletic gear and autographed memorabilia, as well as scholarship money for college-bound athletes.
